Continuing Education (CE) itself is not a bad idea. But I believe DPOR must do more even before making the proposal to the public. It is too ambiguous regarding where and how should the CE be done. What about the out-of-state licensees?
I think the proposal is feasible only if DPOR can provide a free online CE system (with paper version as an option at a fee). Before DPOR is ready to launch such a system, I believe this proposal is too immature.
The proposal must be large?? revised after reviews all feedbacks, like providing exemptions to certain professionals.
At this time, I believe this proposal must be rejected.
