Here is my experience in obtaining my own P.E.

Before taking the test I was searching for a review course to fresh up my subject.  To my suprise there is no such class offer in the entire VA that I know of.  I called Richmond to find additional info without any luck.  The big ORG in my field that I am in did not offer such class except for a sample booklet.  There may be one or two couses offer in the entire US.  Where is the Board when I needed?  Now the Board want me to take APPROVED courses?  The way I see it there was no MONEY in my field so there was no review course.  Now there is no MONEY in my field so there will be no CE classes in VA.  Is the Board looking out for the little guys like me?  I'm taking courses on my own that I use day to day in my work.  Will it help with my renew I think not.  So here I am well educated in my field but without a P.E. license because I did not take courses that the Board approved of.  Saddly I will find out that my license is being revoke late in the game and have to defend why the course I took should be approved.  Is this really necessary?

I'm just hoping the Board will look at all the licensees not just the popular or the majority.  If the Board is not working closely with all the school to offer all the subject matters then like I said above "If there is no money then there is no CE courses".
