General Information
| Action Summary | Chapter 337 of the 2023 General Assembly Session mandates membership of the Commonwealth of Virginia in the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Compact. Amendments to regulations will add definitions consistent with the Compact, set the fee for a Compact privilege to practice in Virginia, specify that renewal of the privilege is based on adherence to Compact rules for continued competency, implement criminal background checks required for the Compact, set forth requirements that privilege holders in Virginia must adhere to Virginia laws and regulations, and amend disciplinary provisions to incorporate privilege holders in Virginia. |
