| Action Summary |
The Board has amended 18VAC115-30-140 to clarify that a certified substance abuse counselor (CSAC) must practice in accordance with provisions of ยง 54.1-3507.1 of the Code of Virginia, which prohibits practice as independent, autonomous practitioners. It further clarifies that CSACs cannot directly bill for their services or represent themselves as independent or autonomous. |
