Water Strider Solar, LLC, has provided the Department of Environmental Quality a notice of intent to submit the necessary documentation for a permit by rule for a small renewable energy (solar) project.  The project is 80MW and is to be located north of Stage Coach Road, near Nathalie in Halifax County and will cover approximately 1,1134 acres.  The project will consist of ground-mounted arrays and will utilize photovoltaic solar modules and single-axis tracking technology.
