SB Solar, LLC has provided the Department of Environmental Quality a notice of intent to submit the necessary documentation for a permit by rule for a small renewable energy (solar) project.  The project is 10MW and is to be located west of Huell Matthews Hwy. and south of E. Hyco Road, near Nathalie in Halifax County and will cover approximately 185 acres.  The project will consist of ground-mounted arrays and will utilize photovoltaic solar modules and single-axis tracking technology.
