Crystal Hill Solar, LLC, has provided the Department of Environmental Quality a notice of intent to submit the necessary documentation for a permit by rule for a small renewable energy project (solar) in Halifax County, Virginia, pursuant to Virginia Regulation 9VAC15-60.

The proposed project will be located along the south side of Crystal Hill Rd. near Crystal Hill in Halifax County. This project will have a maximum generating capacity of 150 megawatts alternating current (AC) across roughly 629 acres on multiple parcels. The project will connect to the grid through a substation that is adjacent to the site.
