2017 Proposed Revisions to Minimum Training Standards

Notice:
In accordance with the requirements of the Virginia Administrative Code the Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is providing notice of proposed changes to the training standards for Law Enforcement, Civil Process, Courtroom Security, Jail, Basic Corrections Officers and Dispatchers recommended by the appropriate Curriculum Review Committee. You may provide public comment through the Regulatory Town Hall public comment forum. Upon hearing and reviewing comments at the next regularly scheduled meeting, the Committee on Training (COT) will decide to adopt or reject in whole or in part the proposed revisions. Those revisions that are adopted by the COT will be published in the Virginia Register of Regulations for 30 days before becoming effective.
