Tradewind Energy, Inc. (TWE) and Centerville Pike Solar Project, LLC have provided notice to the Department of Environmental Quality of their intent to to submit the necessary documentation for a permit by rule for a small renewable energy solar project.  The TWE Centerville Pike Solar Project, LLC, is a 15 MW project, within the city limits of Chesapeake located along Centerville Turnpike Road and will cover approximately 245 acres.  The ground-mounted array will utilize photovoltaic solar modules and single-axis tracking technology.
