Pursuant to Chapter 13 of Title 28.2 of the Code of Virginia, you are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held by the Virginia Marine Resources Commission (VMRC) at their meeting beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, in the Commission meeting room at 380 Fenwick Road, Building 96, Fort Monroe, to consider an application submitted by Jason & Christina Deyoung to construct a 100-foot long rock revetment channelward of an existing bulkhead and two (2) 60-foot sections of rock sill with clean sand backfill and plantings of native wetland vegetation along the Mattaponi River shoreline at 1647 Winona Park Drive in King William County.  The project requires a Tidal Wetlands Permit.  To view the project drawings please open 2026-1502 in the following link: https://webapps.mrc.virginia.gov/public/habitat
