NOTICE of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the Charles City County Wetland Board and Chesapeake Bay Preservation Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Government Administration Building, located at 10900 Courthouse Road, Charles City, VA 23030, to receive public comment on and consider the following:

Wetland/CHESAPEAKE BAY PRESERVATION Board Hearing

WB-01-2026-REV1/CBPA-01-2026-REV1; VMRC Permit # 2015-1211

Re-application for purpose of proper notice, by Corblu Ecology Group, LLC, on behalf of the owner, Colonial Pipeline Company, to extend VMRC Permit Number 2015-1211 and to extend Charles City County Wetland Board Permit, CBPA-01-2020, for a period of five additional years in order to continue performing preventative maintenance activities to segment 27 of the Colonial Pipeline, across wetlands located in Charles City County, particularly tax map parcel number 78-12, also known as 16200 Blue Cay Way, then through navigational waters on the Chickahominy River side of the Route 5 bridge into James City County.

Application by Robert Smalley to repair and replace 225’ linear feet of existing bulkhead, construct a walking platform around existing boathouse, and widen existing boat ramp 18”.The subject property is located at 12815 Sturgeon Point Road, also known as tax map parcel number 68-1-22, in the navigational waters of the James River in Charles City County.

The application can be reviewed during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM in the Department of Community Development located at the address above.
