Pursuant to Chapter 14 of Title 28.2 of the Code of Virginia, you are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held by the Virginia Marine Resources Commission (VMRC) at their meeting beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in the Commission meeting room at 380 Fenwick Road, Building 96, Fort Monroe, to consider an application submitted by Raymond Challoner to install 208 linear feet of riprap, the toe of which may be installed a maximum of 12 feet channelward of the existing bulkhead, to top dress an existing 60-foot groin using a secondary groin on-site serving 15 Barclay Road along the James River in Newport News.
