Notice of Virginia Beach Wetlands Board Public Hearing A Public Hearing of the Virginia Beach Wetlands Board will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chamber – 2401 Courthouse Dr., Municipal Center, Bldg. 1, Second Floor, Virginia Beach, VA. A Staff briefing session will be held at 9:00 a.m. in the City Manager's Conference Room 2034. All interested parties are invited to attend. The following requests are scheduled to be heard: New Business 1. Jackie & Domingo Tan [Applicants & Owners] To construct a rip rap revetment involving wetlands at 4021 Sherwood Ln, contiguous to Western Branch Lynnhaven River – GPIN 1488170488 – District 8. 2. 1309 Taylors Point Road, LLC [Applicant & Owner] To construct a rip rap revetment involving wetlands and a boat house at 1309 Taylors Point Rd, contiguous to Linkhorn Bay – GPIN 2408986698 – District 6. 3. Terry Cherry [Applicant & Owner] To construct a bulkhead, add rock to the existing rip rap, and modify the boat ramp involving wetlands at 1200 Kent Ln, contiguous to Linkhorn Bay – GPIN 2408972588 – District 6. 4. Michael A. Davila [Applicant & Owner] To construct a rip rap revetment and return walls involving wetlands at 404 51st St, contiguous to Crystal Lake – GPIN 2418783441 – District 6. 5. Colony Pines Apartments, LLC [Applicant & Owner] To construct rip rap revetments, a rip rap sill, add sand, and plant vegetation involving wetlands and construct a pier with a gazebo at 2600 Little Pine Ct, contiguous to Eastern Branch Lynnhaven River – GPIN 1497652473 – District 8. 6. Richard Neary, III [Applicant & Owner] After-the-fact authorization of the construction of a bulkhead involving wetlands at 1704 Stephens Rd, contiguous to Broad Bay – GPIN 2409438534 – District 6. Copies of the proposed plans, ordinances, amendments and/or resolutions are on file and may be examined by appointment in the Planning Department at 2403 Courthouse Dr., Municipal Center, Bldg. 3, Virginia Beach, VA 23456 or online at VirginiaBeach.gov/wetlands once Staff Reports are posted to the Board webpage.
