NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Subject: AP26156978; Stafford County Wetlands Board Application, Agenda Number WB26-01; Mr. Steve Belvins; Tax Map Parcel No. 21B-2314; Aquia Election District
The Stafford County Wetlands Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 20, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the ABC Conference Room of the George L. Gordon, Jr., Government Center, 1300 Courthouse Road. The hearing will consider the request of Mr. Steve Blevins for a Stafford County Wetlands Board Permit on Tax Map Parcel No. 21B-2314. The request is to permit the placement of an 80 linear foot riprap revetment to stabilize and protect a portion of Aquia Creek bank and shoreline within the parcel located at 3009 Voyage Drive. The installation of the riprap revetment will result in a permanent loss of 48 sq. ft. of non-vegetated tidal wetlands.
All interested parties are invited to appear at the above designated time and place and state their views. Persons requiring special accommodation to facilitate participation in the above matter are encouraged to contact the Department of Development Services at least five days prior to the meeting.
The public hearing may be continued or adjourned. A copy of the application and other related materials are on file in the Department of Development Services located at 2128 Richmond Highway, Suite 201, Stafford, Virginia 22554, and may be examined Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
