Pursuant to Section 6 of the Accomack County Wetlands Board Ordinance, a public hearing for the following application will be held in the Accomack County administration building, Room #104, 23296 Courthouse Avenue, Accomac, Virginia on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.:

This application is for a commercial pier complex with a 30 foot by 30 foot observation deck, 12 foot by 30 foot fish cleaning station and three finger piers. The Wetland Board’s jurisdiction is from mean low water to 1.5 times mean high water, and the Wetlands Board also has jurisdiction of the entire project because this is a commercial pier. This project is located at 7452 East Side Road, Chincoteague, VA 23336, tax parcels 30A4-24-2 and 30A4-A-42.
