NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

A Public Hearing of the Virginia Beach Wetlands Board will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chamber – 2401 Courthouse Dr., Municipal Center, Bldg. 1, Second Floor, Virginia Beach, VA. A Staff briefing session will be held at 9:00 a.m. in the City Manager's Conference Room 2034. All interested parties are invited to attend.

The following requests are scheduled to be heard:

New Business

1.  Fabiszewski Family Trust [Applicant & Owner] To construct an Envirolock revetment involving wetlands at 4300 Calverton Lane, contiguous to Western Branch Lynnhaven River – GPIN 1478889565 – District 9.

2.  Vijaya L. Gottimukkala Trust [Applicant & Owner] To construct a rip rap revetment and rip rap sill involving wetlands at 1613 Arrowhead Point, contiguous to Western Branch Lynnhaven River – GPIN 14891138520 – District 9.

3.  John & Kristen Wheeler [Applicants] Wheeler Joint Revocable Living Trust [Owner] To construct a rip rap revetment, install a coir log, place sand, and plant vegetation involving wetlands at 4133 Ewell Road, contiguous to Western Branch Lynnhaven River – GPIN 1478992881 – District 9.

Copies of the proposed plans, ordinances, amendments and/or resolutions are on file and may be examined by appointment in the Planning Department at 2875 Sabre St, Suite 500, Virginia Beach, VA 23452 or online at virginiabeach.gov/wetlands once Staff Reports are posted to the Board webpage.
