LEGAL NOTICE

Mathews County Wetlands Board hereby gives notice that on Wednesday, February 7^th, at 7 PM in the Mathews County Historic Courthouse, 27 Court Street, Mathews, VA; the Board will hold public hearings regarding requests for authorization of the following applications:

Sonya Dixon, VMRC #23-2807, 11A2-2-39A– Request to install approximately 22’ of vinyl bulkhead tying into an existing vinyl bulkhead.   This project takes place on portions of the Kibble Creek shoreline. 

Saul Fox, VMRC #23-2810, 10F-6-A– Request to install approximately 109’ riprap revetment channelward of existing bulkhead.  This project takes place on portions of the Hills Bay shoreline.    

Martha Gregory Trible Liv Trst, VMRC #24-0072, 38-A-38– Request to install an approximately 330’ stone marsh sill with appropriate fill and plantings.  This project takes place on portions of the East River shoreline. 

Jerry & Theresa Ferrell, VMRC #24-0076, 1-A-2– Request to install approximately 50’ of riprap revetment.  This project takes place on portions of the Piankatank River shoreline.

Richard Elder, VMRC #24-0087, 22-A-119B– Request to install approximately 225’ of riprap revetment.  This project takes place on portions of the Chesapeake Bay shoreline.

Monica Robbins, VMRC #24-0102, 28-2-A2– Request to reconstruct approximately 245’ of riprap revetment.  This project takes place on portions of the North River shoreline.

Interested parties are invited to attend the meeting. Applications may be reviewed at the Mathews County Wetlands Board office, located in the County Administration Building, 50 Brickbat Road, Mathews, Virginia, Monday-Friday, and 8:30 am-4:30 pm. or online at https://webapps.mrc.virginia.gov/public/habitat/index.php
