The Virginia Board of Education intends to review and approve a list of recommended textbooks and other instructional materials in K-5 Reading and K-12 Science for use in the public schools. Additional information may be obtained on the Department of Education Web site at www.pen.k12.va.us/VDOE/Instruction/mat_review_main.html. Review copies of all textbooks submitted are available at the review sites as listed on the Web site. Public comment will be received until December 8, 2003.
