Chester Solar Technology Park, LLC has provided the Department of Environmental Quality a notice of intent to submit the necessary documentation for a permit by rule for a small renewable energy project (solar) in Chesterfield County pursuant to Virginia Regulation 9VAC15-60. The project will be located on approximately 1,675 acres of privately owned land to the west of Branders Bridge Road. The project will have a maximum capacity of 150 MWac and will consist of ground-mounted solar photovoltaic modules installed on single-axis tracking structures and associated inverters. The project will be co-located with a planned data center.
