| Purpose of the meeting On October 18, 2006, beginning at 2:00 p.m., the Virginia Pesticide Control Board will tour Marker-Miller Orchard, which is located at 3035 Cedar Creek Grade, Winchester, VA, to observe pesticide management practices. The Board will then conduct its normal quarterly meeting the following day, October 19, 2006, beginning at 9:00 a.m., at the Alson H. Smith Research Center. At this meeting, which is open to the public, the Board will discuss general business matters requiring Board action. However, portions of the meeting may be held in closed session, pursuant to ยง2.2-3711 of the Code of Virginia. The Board will entertain public comment at the beginning of the meeting on all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. Any person who needs any accommodations in order to participate in the meeting should contact the person identified in this notice at least five (5) days before the meeting date, so that suitable arrangements can be made for any appropriate accommodation. | |
