| Purpose of the meeting The Virginia Litter Tax Study Group was established pursuant to House Joint Resolution No. 448 (HJ448) of the 2025 Regular Session of the Virginia General Assembly. This is a study group to assist the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) in the review of how the litter tax could better promote recycling, reduce landfill waste, and advance environmental stewardship in the Commonwealth. | |
