| Purpose of the meeting The Public Charter Schools Standing Committee serves as a technical review panel of members with public charter school experience and/or expertise to score the application package using the evaluation criteria. Members of the public may sign up to address the Public Charter Schools Standing Committee at one of its scheduled public meetings by using the Public Charter Schools Standing Committee Public Comment Sign-Up Form (https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=qeUKYsFOoE-GQV2fOGxzCaLNEoQ_dEJKonI2gPADsPhUNktZMlhUNklLODAyUE5EVFo2M1VPSkZOVi4u). Requests to address the Standing Committee should be submitted no later than the day before the scheduled business meeting but may be requested at the meeting at the discretion of the Chair. The Standing Committee will accept public comment in advance of the meeting through the Public Charter School Standing Committee Comment Sign-Up Form. This form collects public comments for review by the members of the Board. The Standing Committee accepts comments from the public on all matters related to public charter schools in Virginia. Comments may be submitted at any time but will be collected and shared with Standing Committee members as part of the meeting materials for its next scheduled business meeting. | |
