| Purpose of the meeting The Virginia Supplemental Early Language and Literacy Resources for Deafness/Hard of Hearing (VA SELLR-DHH) Project Lead State Agencies will hold a work session on June 5, 2023, from 9-11:30 a.m. at the Virginia Department for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Conference Room, 1602 Rolling Hills Drive, Suite 203, Henrico, Virginia 23229. The purpose of the meeting is to allow the designated lead agency representatives for the Virginia Department of Education, the Virginia Department for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and the Virginia Department for Behavioral Health and Developmental Services to review and select resources pertaining to language developmental milestones for parents and language assessment and evaluation tools for professionals to use with children who are deaf and hard of hearing, pursuant to the purpose of VA SELLR-DHH Project Advisory Committee in ยง 22.1-217.04. Public comment will be accepted from 11:20-11:30 a.m. and will be limited to two minutes per person. Written public comment will also be accepted at spedinstruction@doe.virginia.gov, if received by 5 p.m. on June 2, 2023. | |
