| Purpose of the meeting Commonwealth of Virginia, Virginia Health Department (VDH), Notice of Intent to hold a public hearing and advisory committee meeting for the Preventive Health and Health Service (PHHS) Block Grant. All interested individuals and groups are invited to participate at the public hearing on the PHHS Block Grant. In accordance with Title XIX, Section 1905 of the Public Health Service Act, the Commonwealth of Virginia hereby gives notice that VDH will apply for FY 2022 PHHS Block Grant funds for programs addressing Healthy People 2030 national health objectives. The public hearing will be held on Friday July 15 from 12:30pm – 1:30 pm with the advisory committee immediately following. The public hearing will be held at the Virginia Department of Health, Room 1023, 109 Governor Street, Richmond, VA 23219. The State Plan will be available on the agency’s website at https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/injury-and-violence-prevention/state-planning/. Public comment on the plan can be made at the public hearing and written comments can be emailed to Heather.Board@vdh.virginia.gov. | |
