| Purpose of the meeting The Early Childhood Advisory Committee will convene on June 23, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will occur in the Division of Early Childhood Care and Education conference room on the 16th floor of the James Monroe Building. The meeting is open to the public. The meeting will be livestreamed on the VDOE YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrbxl9wHScrWKWIEoUWNIfQ. Based on CDC guidance, masks will be strongly encouraged based on the transmission level of “high risk” for Richmond and the surrounding counties. Please note the Security Protocols for the James Monroe Building: All visitors to the James Monroe Building must show Photo ID and sign in at the security desk on the first floor. When you arrive, please pass through the security screening, sign-in at the security desk and let them know you are attending the Board of Education meeting. All visitors must have an escort to and from the security desk to the meeting location. Please allow time for these security protocols. Security desk hours are from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. We appreciate your patience and commitment to ensuring the safety of all employees and guests. Oral public comment will be accepted; written public comment must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21. Please submit comments or requests to speak by email to earlychildhood@doe.virginia.gov. Public comment will be shared with Advisory Committee Members.
