| Purpose of the meeting The Early Childhood Advisory Committee will convene on March 24, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Board Room, located on the 22nd floor of the James Monroe Building (101 N. 14th Street, Richmond, VA 23219). The meeting is open to the public and livestreamed on the VDOE YouTube Channel. Based on CDC guidance, masks will be optional based on the transmission level of "medium risk" for Richmond and the surrounding counties. Should this transmission level be elevated to "high risk," masks will be strongly encouraged. Please note the Security Protocols for the James Monroe Building: All visitors to the James Monroe Building must show Photo ID and sign in at the security desk on the first floor. When you arrive, please pass through the security screening, sign-in at the security desk and let them know you are attending the Board of Education meeting. All visitors must have an escort to and from the security desk to the meeting location. Please allow time for these security protocols. Security desk hours are from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. We appreciate your patience and commitment to ensuring the safety of all employees and guests. Oral public comment will be accepted; written public comment must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22. Please submit comments or requests to speak by email to earlychildhood@doe.virginia.gov. Public comment will be shared with Advisory Committee Members.
