| Purpose of the meeting Committees of the Board (Secure Services and Non-secure Services) meet at 9:30 AM to receive certification audit reports. The full Board meets at 10:30 AM to take certification action; to consider revisions to Regulations Governing Reimbursement of Local Juvenile Residential Facility Costs (6 VAC 35-30); to hear from detention homes requesting continued approval to use pepper spray under certain conditions; to issue PROPOSED revisions to the Board's Standards for Juvenile Residential Facilities; to approve FINAL regulations governing the Virginia Juvenile Justice Information System; to hear comments from the public concerning proposed regulations governing research; to authorize a notice of intented regulatory action regarding the Standards for the Interdepartmental Regulation of Children's residential facilities, and to consider such other matters as may come before the Board. | |||||||||
