| Purpose of the meeting Committees of the Board meet at 8:30 am (Secure services committee and non-secure services committee), to receive certification audit reports. Full Board convenes at 9:30 am. to take certification action, receive reports on implementation of a ward classification system, update on legislative developments in the 2000 General Assembly, and the status of the planned acquisition of the Natural Bridge juvenile Correctional Center property. In addition, the ad hoc committee on policy will meet to discuss recommendations from department staff. Public comments on issues scheduled for Board discussion will be received at the start of the regular meeting. | |
