| Purpose of the meeting Regulatory Business (see draft agenda) There are two regulatory items, both to amend 12-VAC35-105 Rules and Regulations For Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (“Licensing Regulations”) through the standard process: • Regulatory Action 5040, Compliance with Virginia’s Settlement Agreement with US DOJ: Proposed stage (which must occur before March 3rd). Amendments are recommended to respond to stakeholder comments. • Regulatory Action 4928, Adds OTs, OTAs, and editing definitions of QMHP, etc.: Final stage (which must occur after February 23rd). No additional amendments are recommended. In both cases, there is an emergency regulation in place and the requested actions are to move to the next stage of the process. Details on the requests for action are included with each item. | |||
