| Purpose of the meeting The Committee will receive updates on: Medical Laboratory Scientists and Technicians-Considering the deficiency data on Virginia's laboratories to assess the risk of harm posed by medical laboratory scientists and technicians if not regulated as a profession. Follow-up will be provided regarding the NP Scope of Practice and Team Delivery Study round table discussion. Genetic Counselors-Review of report with proposed legislative language. Nurse Practitioner-Review nurse practitioner workplan and initial review of literature. Public comment will be received at the beginning of the meeting. | |
