| Purpose of the meeting The Pesticide Control Board will conduct a strategic planning session from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Board will hold a public hearing at 1:30 p.m. on a proposed amendment to 2 VAC 20-51, Regulations Governing Pesticide Applicator Certification under Authority of Virginia Pesticide Control Act to exempt certain government employees from certification requirements when they are using certain pesticides on the job for personal protection only. Immediately following the public hearing, the Board will conduct its normal quarterly meeting; however, portions of the meeting may be held in closed session, pursuant to ยง2.2-3711 of the Code of Virginia. The Board will entertain public comment at the beginning of the meeting on all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. Any person who needs any accommodations in order to participate in the meeting should contact the person identified in this notice least five (5) days before the meeting date, so that suitable arrangements can be made for any appropriate accommodation. | |||
