| Purpose of the meeting This is a general business meeting of the Board. The Board will be updated on the Department's and respective boards' progress with regard to the Virginia Performs measures. Additionally, the Board will be briefed on pending regulations and legislative issues affecting the agency. The Board will also be updated on its Sanctions Reference Study and will receive a report from the Regulatory Research on its other research projects. The Nominating Committee will also provide a recommended slate of officers with nominations also from the floor for the election of Chair and Vice Chair for calendar year 2009. The Board's schedule for calendar year 2009 will also be established at this meeting. Public comment will be received at the beginning of the meeting. | |
