The purpose of this policy is to (1) aid staff in correctly identifying permit applications as voluntary upgrade or repair permit applications; {2) clarify what type of voluntary upgrade or repair activities require full compliance with the State's regulations; (3) identify when a permit application may require a treatment waiver w1der the Code of Virginia; and (4) provide staff with a clear process for issuing treatment waivers. |
