The Social Services Policy Manual, Volume II, Part IV, describes the
Department of Social Services' General Relief (GR) Program, which is an
optional program for localities designed to provide assistance (either
maintenance or emergency) that cannot be provided through other means.
Localities choosing to administer a GR program must submit a General Relief
Plan to the state office. |
