I am completely fine with the idea that if a funeral establishment does not offer embalming or any technical preparation of the deceased, then they can opt out of having a preparation room. What I do want to see happen is notification given to the public of who has preparation rooms and who does not on the grounds that the general public may be misled where their loved ones are located during the arrangement process. A funeral firm should not call itself a "funeral home", "funeral parlor", etc. rather a "funeral chapel" or something and give notification that no emblaming or preparation occurs on site.
