For Proposed Regulations

Clean water isn't free, but I believe it is worth the increased costs of development.  Economic arguments against imposing these regulations at this time seem misplaced.  There remains an overhang of supply for residential and commerical space in may parts of the state.  These seems like a good time to impose new regulations and restrict development.  I also support increasing incentives for higher density development, but after reading the Economic Impact Analysis and comments on this page I believe that goal can can still be reached through these and other measures.

I enjoy waterways all over the Commonwealth by canoe, as a hiker, and an angler.  I also regularly drink water from the Potomac, which is fed by many Virginia streams.  I believe these proposed regulations are in the long term interest of all Virginia citizens and I support their passage.
