Once school decided to push religion out the door, they gave up any and all right to teach our children social, emotional or moral values. These should be taught at home, by the parents, family and community. Schools should focus on what they are paid to do, which is simply to educate our children in the core curriculum subjects. Schools do not have the expertise or authority to teach children, or anyone else, on how to live their lives. That's what family is for. If you want to keep religion out of schools, then keep schools out of the home.
