I am strongly opposed for multiple reasons. Parents are the primary educators of their children not public schools. Schools do not have the right to keep any information from parents regarding their children. Somewhere along the way public schools stopped promoting discipline, education, and the support of their teachers and began to promote a victim mentality, excuses, and caving to demands. The sheer amount of students moving to a homeschool/private school atmosphere should be an indicator to public schools that they are broken. If public schools continue bending to wayward progressive agendas, taking away the rights of parents, and subscribing blindly to the victim mentality, they are actively contributing to the decay of our society. Public schools are not helping younger generations, they are betraying the blind trust of young minds.
