As a school counselor and mother of 3 kids ages 6, 10 and 12 I believe in the value of each and every child. Every child needs to feel loved, valued, heard and honored. However, this model to “help” transgender children does not help any child. It’s a sham that robs children of healthy growth, increases division among peers and hurts children who are confused by their growing bodies. Please love and counsel those who are confused! They need guidance, support and to be heard, but not at the cost of other students’ natural born rights. Let women flourish in sports celebrating their achievements while accessing safe locker rooms. Teach boys to be men who are loving fathers and community pillars. This false narrative is weakening our morals, institutions and nation. Enact this plan and suicides will flourish, not children.
