This is absolutely the worst thing to do for kids in school. Your medical panel in favor of this should be ashamed. A child’s identity is determined before birth, and evident in the womb. If you have a penis, you’re a male, a vagina, a female. It’s as simple as that! This radical change is not necessary. My Caucasian male son doesn’t get special treatment and consideration, and neither should this topic. You’re making something out of nothing. You are responsible for teaching academics, not equality, identity, and uncertainty. This is a horrible idea. Parents are responsible for teaching values and virtues, not a government paid person who wants to twist our children’s minds with this garbage. Are you going to pay all the psychology bills for the kids who are preyed upon by these workers and actually confuse the kids even more, and cause them to question their identity, themselves, and even their parents? You are not God. Stop playing God with the lives of others. The human brain does not fully develop until the mid twenties and some people even into their thirties. It seems like you’re trying to brainwash our kids into feeling a certain way about themselves. Kids know who and what they are. Public schools is not the place for psychology and mental counselling. You are starting a swell of opposition who will not tolerate your politics in school. This is more division in our state, and you’re are going to be guilty of all of the wrong that will happen. You can’t expect teachers and staff to be medical doctors and counselors. Are you going to prescribe medication too? You’re caving to peer pressure that activists with nothing better to do than strong arm you into doing this. Where will Virginia public schools be when the opposing parents pull their kids out of school, and even leave the state? You’ll no longer have the numbers of kids, and taxes to fund your experiments will dwindle. I for one am now being called to act. Thank you for showing me how vulnerable you are in not being able to combat this propaganda, yourself, and at your level. You are showing your weakness and inability to lead and manage. You’re in an elected position, and will need to fight to retain it. I’m disgusted and appalled.
