I am a mother and a teacher. This shakes me to my core. If we do this what is to say that predators won't simply say they are transgender to have access to bathrooms and locker rooms? Will these children then be showering at school with people who have the opposite sex organs as them? I do not care what people identify with and I do not mind using different pronouns (although sometimes it is hard when they go back and forth from week to week). I do mind for how this can open things up for predators. I do worry about how much easier this could cause students to be violated.
On a different level, how does this not infringe on the first amendment?
