Regulations protect patients

Abortion patients are not harmed by requiring clean, regulated facilities.  They are protected by these practices.  In addition, providing pre-and post abortion counseling, helps to treat the psychological difficulties associated with abortion decisions.  It is not just the child who dies, but a piece of the mother's heart wounded by her actions often leading to depression.  We need to treat the whole person not just be concerned with the revenue of the abortion industry and making it quick and easy to obtain.  I wonder about a society which requires 3 contact visits to adopt a stray dog, but doesn't want a woman to have time to consider her options before making a life and death choice for her child.
