CO2 Emmisions

I am in favor of the new policy that will abate, control, or limit CO2 from electric power facilities in the Commonwealth of Virginia. One benefit of the proposed policy is that it will benefit the overall health and welfare of Virginian residents, a key part of current Governor McAuliffe's directive. Also, the policy will take into consideration what other states are doing to combat the problem and having similar standards in a geographically close area will help markets stay equal and fair. Using the regulation policy tool will make the proposed policy have very high coercion. A specific goal, limiting CO2 emissions, is in mind and there is very direct language accompanying the policy that will make carrying out the policy easy as well. Using the idea of businesses being able to sell their extra emission will help the facilities be more cautious of their usage. A monetary award is an appropriate way to do this. One way to improve the policy would be providing a tax incentive, another form of policy tools. A tax benefit would intrigue more facilities and their input can help to make the policy directive even stronger. ?
