Opposed to State Agency Gun Ban

I strongly oppose the Govenor's State Agency Gun Ban.

This ban is a solution for a problem that does not exist. There has never been a gun related problem in a Virginia state agency so this ban is completely unnecessary. Furthermore, such a politically motivated act by a governor of Virginia is an insult to all legal gun owners, including all of us who hold valid Concealed Handgun Permits. We have already been checked, and double-checked and deemed completely trustworthy by the Virginia State Police. Why then does Govenor McAuliffe find it necessary to prevent us from exercising our right to self-protection?

As a citizen of the Commonwealth of Virginia, I demand that this act be allowed to expire in ignomy and never be made permanent or codified.
