In the past ten years I have had accupuncture, cervical fusion, steroid injections, spinal epidurals, meds, botox injections, tins, ultrasound, and many types of physical therapy. Truly, I believe I have tried every available avenue to alleviate pain. A physician recommended that I may benefit from dry needling. Needling has literally changed my life. My physical therapist understands my pain and my body better than any other physician I have seen and has helped me immeasurably. I can not function in daily life without it as a mode of pain management. I have had several therapists do needling and have been pleased with the care, knowledge and results from them all. It is my understanding that they have a rigorous education and testing to be able to administer needles. They have informed me and taught me a great deal about my issues and I only wish there were more doctors and therapists that were trained to do needling. I trust that you will be looking strongly at the patient's perspective, as surely the patient's best interest is the issue that should be addressed here.
