NO BAN ON GUNS

Mr. Governor,

No ban on guns!!!! None!! You are doing a knee jerk reaction to recent events. Do you really believe that any kind of ban on guns will make everything all better ?

You are our governor but it seems more like you are working under the presidents wants. He had no clue how to govern and is doing his best to tear fown our way of life. Therefore you cannot be representing Virginias citizens.

Do you really believe that criminals will ANY legislature you put thru? They will and are laughing at you. Even tho you took an oath to protect the very citizens there isn't one law in the books that protect us from violence.

Law Enforcement can do so much and cannot be everywhere. I know, I am a retired VA Beach police officer with 30 years service . I can say accurately how frustrating it is to try and be everywhere. Any ban on guns is a foolish step to take .

Guns do not kill or injure. Because guns are not a living being and cannot be held responsible for its actions. Only we humans make the decisionto pull the trigger.

When you are out of office, will you still have the protection of the VSP ? Or are you going to be trained to carry a gun to protect yourself and your family especially when someone who does mot approve of you decides to assault you with a gun that was supposed to be banned by ink and paper you pushed for? Criminals will not do anything like turn in their weapons . I know I won't, you can count on it.

You are going in the wrong direction in pushing this agenda.
