It doesn't take a genius to understand every mass shooting is in a gun free zone. By stripping the rights of gun owning citizens you are leaving yourselves defenseless. Look at all the school shootings people die then police arrive, when a armed citizen could have saved lives. Also I have one last point: Criminals don't follow laws, how is that so hard to understand. Why don't you just make murder illegal instead? If someone is going to break the law and plans to commit murder I'm sure they won't mind breaking another law.
