There are only two real questions here in my mind:

1. Can the State guarantee absolute protection to all government employees and others while in government buildings.

2. Has a legally concealed carry of weapons in government buildings ever been a problem, or has a person with a concealed carry weapon ever used that weapon to commit a crime while in a government building?

The answer to question #1 is so obvious it will need not be discussed.

The answer to #2 should be publically disclosed for legitimate discussion, but is the answer is "No" then what further discussion is really needed?

BTW - I am a retired police officer with 28 years of service and can state with authority criminals don't obey the law  - DUH.  Why would anyone in their right mind think a criminal would obey a gun ban in a state building? So if the State cannot guarantee protection... well, you can see what my point is here, right?
