Concealed handgun permit holders have been the most law abiding set of citizens there are. We have been through a rigorous background check that is more stringent than the one to own a gun because to be qualified for a concealed handgun permit has more limitations than purchasing. We go through safety training and take our responsibility seriously. To limit our ability to concealed carry in state agencies stops us from carrying because we follow the law, but does nothing to hinder the guy set to harm others. Anyone who you fear will abuse the right to carry and misuse a gun, will just bring it in uncaringly whereas we will folow the law and put ourselves in a position where we can't defend ourselves from the aforementioned group. 

With the recent wave of violence against citizens by uncaring individuals such as the terrorist attacks in San Bernadino and Paris, France, I believe that this course of action is setting us up for failure. Mass shootings always take place in places where carry is prohibited. I hope that these types of incidents can be stopped but in the meantime we need to be vigilant to take whatever precautions necessary and no gun ban will even put a second thought in the perpetrators mind. 

I ask that you reconsider this course of action because I want the citizens of the Commonwealth to be free from the typs of violence we have seen and at worst be able to protect ourselves
