No on has yet to show me an example of a "good" person with a gun saving anyone's life. Yet hundreds die because of irresponsible gun owners. If you want protection, you should be able to rely on our military or our police, yet both are impeded by the proliferation of open carry laws and the number of laws on the streets. I believe we have passed the point of sanity on this issue.  We need leadership and responsibility from our lawmakers. The dangers of vigilante law were proven decades ago. No one is trying to take away anyone's right to a gun, but the Constitution does not extend that right to "guns on the go". More and more of your constituents are fed up with this kind of backwoods mentality.
